The collection contains a typed transcription of the diary kept by Job Barnard, Company K, 73rd Regiment, Indiana Volunteers (Aug. 7, 1862-July 8, 1865). The diary mentions Camp Rose as well as the battles at Stone River and Tuscumbia. The transcription (106 pages) was typed by Charles Arthur Barnard in 1893.
